The annual March event served to honor generous community leaders Pat and Dan Breen, showcase the Foundation’s work in the community and attract new supporters. Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher and Houston Astro Great, Nolan Ryan, also attended the luncheon as interviewee for longtime KPRC news anchor Steve Smith.
The Spring Luncheon marked its 12th anniversary, as well as a 12-year total of over $2 million raised for Foundation ministries. Using these donations the Foundation is able to provide health services to larger populations each year through 10 different programs such as, CHRISTUS Foundation Healthy Neighborhoods Initiative; a program designed to connect patients in low income communities with affordable medical care.
Special thanks to our Co-Chairs and underwriters who help CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare maintain its dedication to extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ through the promotion of health and welfare to people in need.
