CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare’s 19th Annual Spring Luncheon will honor Mrs. Raye G. White and feature special guest speaker Ambassador Adela Raz. The luncheon will take place on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at River Oaks Country Club.

Ambassador Adela Raz was Afghanistan’s last Ambassador to the United States, just before the Taliban’s takeover. Prior to that, Ambassador Raz served as the first female Permanent Representative and Ambassador of Afghanistan to the United Nations. At the U.N., Ambassador Raz was the vice president of the 75th session of the General Assembly, and she was also appointed by the president of the General Assembly to serve as the General Assembly’s co-coordinator on COVID-19-related initiatives. She currently serves as the Director of the Afghanistan Policy Lab at Princeton University.

Mrs. Raye G. White has been a long-time supporter and partner of CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare and St. Joseph’s Foundation, our predecessor. She served on the Board from 2001-2012 and has been a Life Director since 2013. Mrs. White has been a supporter of numerous special events and capital campaigns.
