CHRISTUS Our Daily Bread

Every day is a struggle for individuals suffering from mental illnesses and chemical addictions. CHRISTUS Our Daily Bread provides guidance and structure to clients who are homeless, assisting them as they develop a plan of action to break the cycles of addiction and despair.

Serving up Compassion and Hot Meals

Clients at the center are provided nutritious meals, clean clothing, the necessities of personal hygiene and a structured recovery program.

Clinic Providers

Sr. Pauline Troncale CCVI is a Sister of Charity of the Incarnate Word and the Director of CHRISTUS Our Daily Bread, a homeless Day Center in Galveston, Texas.

Sr. Pauline was born in Houston, Texas and received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  She obtained a Masters in Healthcare Administration from St. Louis University.  Sr. Pauline is a former Director of San Jose Clinic and has worked for and served on boards for several of the Congregation’s Hospitals.  She also spent 11 years in Vocation Ministry both for the Sisters of Charity and the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
