CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare’s 20th Annual Spring Luncheon will honor JoAnn and Gene Allspach and feature special guest Houston Texans Quarterback C.J. Stroud in conversation with Sports Radio 610’s Sean Pendergast.

Only halfway into his rookie season, C.J. Stroud has already created a name for himself in the NFL. Stroud has made an immediate, impressive impact for the Texans and sits as the overwhelming favorite for Offensive Rookie of the Year. Many argue he cemented this status in the Texans’ 39-37 victory over the Buccaneers, where he passed for 470 yards (an NFL rookie record) and completed five touchdowns - the last of which came from starting a drive at the Texans’ 25 yard line with seconds left in the fourth quarter. C.J.’s 147.8 passer rating is the highest by any rookie quarterback in NFL history. He is not only the NFL’s top rookie QB, but one of the most prolific quarterbacks in the entire league. At only 22 years old, Stroud has fit in seamlessly at the professional level in one of the most demanding positions in sports with poise, confidence and efficiency.

We are proud to honor long-time supporters JoAnn & Gene Allspach. For 24 years, JoAnn and Gene have been supporters of CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare, with Gene serving on the Board of Directors from 2001-2012 and as a Life Director since 2013. In addition to previous support of St. Joseph’s Foundation, they have also served on numerous event and gala committees.
