Over the last year, CHRISTUS Healthy Living Mobile Clinics has seen the demand for vaccines triple. From the distribution of the COVID vaccine and boosters, the need for children to become up-to-date on childhood vaccinations, and newly-arrived refugees to our area, the program’s vaccine stock has outgrown the storage capacity.

Our goal this Giving Tuesday is $5,000 to purchase a new commercial-grade immunizations refrigerator for our Healthy Living Mobile Clinics. The additional refrigerator allows us to expand our vaccines' storage capacity and maintain the multiple cooler panels that are required to safely transport our vaccines to sites. Last year, Healthy Living Mobile Clinics provided over 16,000 vaccines at 292 different sites.
