For individuals and families living day to day, it’s all too easy to fall through the cracks of our society and its limited safety net. One missed paycheck, one car breakdown, one bout of physical or mental illness: sometimes that’s all it takes to start a swift, steep spiral into hunger, homelessness, sickness, or despair.

For people brought to their knees by adversity—and also for those who aspire to better lives and are willing to work for their dreams—we offer a helping hand. Not a handout, but a hand up: food, referrals for rehab, free adult education, and more, all offered without judgment … and with heartfelt love.
